How do I become a MBUNDU Influencer?

It takes a special personality to become a MBUNDU Influencer. 

We are looking for influencers with: 

• Over 25,000 followers on Instagram
• An Instagram profile with a high affinity to our products (e.g. the unique gifts, fashion accessories, home decor, healthier lifestyles micro-segments.)
• The ability and willingness to take pictures and promote MBUNDU
• Instagram page aesthetics marked by a strong, pleasing visual language
• Willingness to use the MBUNDU link in your bio when running promotions for MBUNDU
• Competency to deliver accurate product information
• Enthusiasm to showcase the MBUNDU product line as part of positive healthy, uplifting, or luxurious experiences on your Instagram page 

The larger your following and the higher your engagement rate, the more we can do for you.

How do I get started?

We offer a one-month trial for influencers.

If we like what we see, we’ll get back to you and request some information to send you an awesome branded gift item. These items change regularly, but you’ll love the selection. To get our gear to you, we need some info from you:

• Link to your Instagram account to cross-reference you
• Your full name
• Your shipping address

 

Once you select your fantastic branded gift, be patient. Our items are all handmade, so it takes a little while for them to arrive. 

I’ve got all the above: how do I sign up? 

If you have a following of 25k+, please send an e-mail to cc@mbundu.com and use the Subject [Ambassador].

Please include the following information: 

• Show us what you do
• Tell us what channels you have (such as Instagram, Facebook or Twitter)
• Provide us with the links to those channels

How frequently should I post?

It’s important to be yourself. So, continue with the frequency that you use to engage with your followers most effectively.

Most of our MBUNDU Influencers post 3 or 4 times a week — each post features a fresh picture in a new setting.

The more you post —> the more exposure —> the more sales come in —> the happier we all are :)

What happens after the trial period?

After the trial period, our social media team will evaluate the relationship. We want both parties to be happy.

Things the MBUNDU team reviews include: 

• Posting frequency
• Amount of engagement with your posts
• Sales generated by your posts.

 It’s important that both parties are pleased with the relationship. We want to have a long and mutually fruitful relationship with MBUNDU Influencers. 

Financial Rewards

Some MNUNDU Influencers enjoy substantial financial benefits by promoting our brand.

We reward those that promote us with a 10% rev-share. This means that for every sale you make to your followers you will receive a 10% reward based on the net sale amount (excluding delivery, sales tax / V.A.T. and returns).

Consider this 

• Our average order value is $110
• 10% of $110 is $11
• So, on average, every sale that results from your posts would earn you $11

PayPal payouts

The last Friday of the month, we pay our MBUNDU Influencers via PayPal. Please note that we only pay via PayPal, so make sure you have an active PayPal account.
